Costco is a great place to stock up on baking supplies. They have some variety and buying in bulk can save you some money. And they have quality ingredients!
Here are the baking ingredients I buy at Costco:
Vanilla - I really like their Kirkland pure vanilla. It has a great flavor and is reasonably priced. Vanilla can get super pricy! Buying vanilla from Costco is a great way to save on your cost without compromising flavor.
Sugar - I go through a lot of sugar so buying in bulk is a great option for me. As long as you have a good storage solution for buying a lot of sugar, you should buy in bulk.
Vegetable Oil - I know a lot of people don't like vegetable oil. It is what I prefer to use in my cakes based on the flavor. Costco has a gallon size vegetable oil.
Flour - There are a couple of choices of flour at Costco. I like to use recipes that have all-purpose flour. King Arthur flour is my favorite but sometimes it is not avaiable.
Chocolate Chips - I use semi-sweet chocolate chips to make the ganache drip on almost all of my cakes so I like to buy in bulk. Kirkland brand are good, Ghirardelli are better if they are avilable.
Costco has even more options for bakers, but I like to stick to the basics when it comes to buying in bulk.
What do you like from Costco?
