CHOCOLATE IS HAPPINESS YOU CAN EAT



When it comes to cake, you can incorporate chocolate in a variety of ways. One of the easiest ways to use chocolate in your cake is to use it to flavor your cake layers.






Cocoa powder comes from ground cocoa beans. The beans are fermented and ground at a high temperature which makes them bitter in flavor. Your cake recipe will have plenty of sugar to balance it out but keep the rich chocolate flavor.








Growing up, I recall calling cocoa powder, baking coco. Did you know they are two different products? Baking cocoa sometimes called Dutch process cocoa, is a bit sweet. The cocoa is alkalized, which neutralizes the acidity.
